“Blue Star is the new rising star in the firmament of Dutch pop music” OOR Music Magazine

“Blue Star are a trio from ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Holland with a sophisticated pop sound that includes trained female vocals, effectsy guitar breaks which warp and wiggle like a bowl of Jello in a 7.6 earthquake, and even a moonbeam’s worth of Middle Eastern slink. It’s rare to find a record of accomplished musicianship on an indie 7-incher. It’s even rarer to find one that’s good. […] High quality all the way.” Alternative Press U.S.A. on ‘Sometimes’ 7″ EP

‘Blue Star are a trio from ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Holland with a sophisticated pop sound that includes trained female vocals, effectsy guitar breaks which warp and wiggle like a bowl of Jello in a 7.6 eartquake, and even a moonbeam’s worth of Middle Eastern slink.

It’s rare to find a record of accomplished musicianship on an indie 7-incher. It’s even rarer to find one that’s good. When people really learn to play their instruments they often also learn to bore. But Blue Star isn’t boring at all. High quality all the way.’
